In a word, community. Penn State fans live all around the nation and around the world. We can’t all have the benefit of living in Pennsylvania to get all of the information about the Lions. For a lot of those who don’t live in Pennsylvania, it’s difficult to find other fans to interact with and talk about the Lions. NittanyFootball.com is meant to be that place on the web.
There are more than a few websites where you can get good information about Penn State. While NittanyFootball.com does offer some informative articles, they’re all written by regular fans, not reporters. And you get to comment on what they say. Pretty cool, huh?
Some of the other interactive features include the watch sites where you can find and submit places all over the nation to watch Penn State games. And the College Football Challenge sponsored by The Student Bookstore in downtown State College provides a little friendly competition and great prizes too. But the best place to really join in the community is in the discussion forums where you can get the latest scoop on what Penn State fans are thinking and feeling.
This is all about community, so join us! We’re glad you’re here.
There are lots of reasons to contact us, so feel free. If you’re having technical issues or if something isn’t looking right in your browser, let us know. If you just want to give out some general props (or not) on this community, we’d love to hear that too. Got a general question about something on the site or otherwise, you guessed it...just let us know. We’re really friendly and will help out in any way possible.
