Re: Politics

I won't shed any tears when he's gone. I just seriously doubt I'll do any backflips over whomever takes over for him.

Re: Politics

Trump is a pathological liar, no doubt. He seems pathological about a whole lot of things. He is an absolutely awful person and I can't believe there are people who defend his character. But, he's not unique. Is he more of a liar than any of his predecessors when it comes to things that actually mat...

Re: Politics

There is no longer a reason to believe a word he says and that brings discredit on the office and the Nation.

Wait. The president lying about affairs discredits the office? Is that new?

Re: Politics

I saw that. I really don't care what porn star he may have banged. Or what woman he paid to go away. It's his money and his affairs are between him and the Mrs. But, man, this will be some great entertainment. Especially the part where all the "family values" people line up to defend him. ...

Re: Random Thoughts Again

So you and B&W must be on top of this: Have the Kardashians posted any recent pics of their ginormous bums? You mea these guys? https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/startrek/images/f/f2/Cardassians.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20061030001151 Those are the only Cardasians I ever had any awareness of.

Re: Random Thoughts Again

Captain Kirk was a luddite. People who were logical and embraced science used smart phones. http://nhne-pulse.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/spock-tricorder.jpg And, technology has improved upon them and now they can fit in your pockets instead of needing to be carried on a pouch with a strap that l...

Carl

If you have a smart phone, I'd skip the GPS. Google maps and Waze are more than sufficient for GPS and directions, and probably better as they are always updated and give real time traffic updates.

Re: Random Thoughts Again

I've done the Merritt when 684 has been really backed up. It's been a number of years but I remember it being hit or miss. But, it's a nice, scenic drive. You should give my route a shot and see how it does. One thing I will warn you about - the exit off 684 to 84 can be hellish. You hit that the wr...

Re: Politics

No different? I disagree. As a matter of policy, he is blatantly and actively anti-environment, anti-science, flirts frequently with white nationalists/supremacists and sides consistently with policies and ideas that harm the very people who voted for him. He is no more anti-science or anti-environ...

Re: Random Thoughts Again

I95 in Conn. is no Day at the Beach, either. I avoid that now by using the Merritt Parkway, It runs parallel to and north of 95 in Conn. But I do have to get back on 95 when I hit NJ. There's no practical way to avoid it. No, that stretch of 95 is not fun. One thing you may want to try is taking th...
