Zero percent chance he and his people didn't ok/leak the story on this.

Re: Politics

He is doing what he always does: 1. Obama did something. Do exactly the opposite because eff that guy right? 2. Through bombast, general idiocy, or predictable narcissism, create an issue that absorbs media attention. 3. Back down and end the insane issue you just created. 4. Claim absolute victory....

Re: Epilogue to the 2018 Penn State Season

I was meandering through youtube videos and came across this one: https://youtu.be/MiQpVVz772A Man, that 2017 team was really good and that year was quite a missed opportunity. The losses to OSU and MSU were just absolute back breakers for a team that by all accounts, should have been our first play...

Re: Random Thoughts Again

I work in a high school. The only fedoras I see are attached to the heads of painfully awkward teenage boys(I know, redundant) who are sually into either gaming, theater, marching band or on occasion, math.

And let me tell you this: no one under the age of 65 is ever "pulling it off".

Re: 2020 Election Thread

I honestly don't think Biden makes it through the Dem primary. I think his current polling numbers are reflective of people's desire to elect someone, anyone other than Donald Trump and it looks as though Biden may be able to do that. However, as the crowd starts to thin out I think we will see cand...

Re: Random Thoughts Again

Or it could have been because Yale scored 52 goals before the Lions got their heads out of their collective bums. As a huge Penn Stater and a lacrosse guy, I feel like I have to discuss this here: My brother and I went down to the Linc for the tournament. Got tickets in the lower bowl endzone for c...

Re: Movies

I saw a preview for the Deadwood movie, remembered how some of my friends listed it as their second favorite show of all time (behind the Wire) and decided to start it. I'm four episodes in, and it hasn't disappointed yet.

Natural selection for the idiocy that is the anti-vaxxer crowd.

All joking aside it is incredibly sad that the kids bear the brunt of the parental ignorance.

Re: 2020 Election Thread

Hey, shout-out to Trump, Paul Ryan, and the rest of the asshole Republicans who pushed through this "tax cut". Finished up my taxes owing Uncle Sam a pretty penny. I know, I'm not the person the tax cut was meant for. A HS teacher making $62k a year is just rolling in it. About time I paid...

Re: Music

One thing about the movie I did not like was they portrayed these guys as affable guys who suddenly became famous and went a bit nuts with drugs and booze. I buy the latter part of that but I don't think they were all that affable. I think they were pretty much assholes. All of them. Anyway, it was...
