Re: Politics

I am not familiar with this incident but plan to learn about it. That said, I agree that one should do as instructed by police in emergency situations, even if you don’t believe you are a suspect. Fear of the unknown is probably a huge contributor to events like this. Not he only one, of course, as...

Re: Politics

Looks like Stuart Smalley is going resign today. And, it also looks like that tax "cut" is going to cost me a few thousand a year, depending on what the final details are. But, if they remove the state and local exemption, take away my ability to deduct form the home equity loan, and a fe...

Re: Random Thoughts Again

So, it looks like I have to become a fan of the William and Mary Tribe... My son just got an email welcoming him to the class of 22! Congrats Lion, that is great news. W&M is a wonderful school. What are of study is he interested in at this point? Sorry, I had not been here in several days and ...

Re: 2017 Team Thread

The higher the talent level of the recruiting class the higher the chance of transfer should the stars not reach starting status and see that they probably won't. Add in that sometimes star power breeds attitude issues that foment transferitis e.g. the inflammation of the oblique transfer. Once the ...

Re: Other College Football Games

That's great. I have an acquaintance who played for NMSU many years ago. I'm sure he is happy that his alma mater is finally headed to a bowl game. Good for them and him. :)

Re: Fiesta Bowl vs. Washington PreGame Thread

Shane, Washington has never played against a running back who defies gravity, routinely. Of course, having a bit of room upon receiving the hand off does help a back gain yards.

Re: Other College Football Games

I'm hoping that our staff and HC note and adjust for next season but I said that after the Rose Bowl too so the SOS continues to happen. I won't criticize the team and frankly the entire staff did a bang up job of taking a team left for dead by the ncaa and did their best to lead it to unprecedented...

Re: Politics

Ross is the same assclown who attributed one of the mass shootings (Aurora?) to the Tea Party, for which he later apologized. Why does this guy still have a job with a major network? Were neither Ted Baxter nor Ron Burgundy available to fill his position? My guess is he still has a job because Matt...

Re: Other College Football Games

And someone please remind me why players have to sit out a year if they want to go somewhere else. Oh no, not in all cases. I seem to remember an incident, oh...2011-2012?, in which the NCAA was involved in a criminal case in which it allowed, and even encouraged, players to immediately transfer ou...

Re: Moorehead to Mississippi State

I'm starting to wonder just what grower is "growing" in his backyard. Pro tip: It's not legal in PA, grower. Not yet anyway. Be careful. Before you get too excited, Grower also predicts the Phillies to win the World Series every March. Now this, THIS, is totally different. We got us a cyb...
