Re: Kent State Pregame

I suspect we will see a highly motivated team come late Sept. KSU is not a motivating team, it's a check mark on the schedule. I'd like to read the comments prior to the OSU game in 2016, probably far worse than these. OSU is filled with the best talent in the Big 10 overall. The team will be ready ...

Re: Other College Football Games

Good points Walt.

It TCU had a decent defense the Big 10 would be an afterthought in the college sports media world at this point. :?

Re: Florence

I must interject at this junction of the scientific discussion. It is entirely my fault. We put our car in the garage recently and had the spark plugs changed, they were worn. New ignition wires were installed as were air cleaners and transmission oil and filter. All these changes improved the carbo...

Re: Pitt pre-game thread

App State is playing with the same number of scholarship players as Penn State and they didn't suffer through sanctions while we are still out of balance in some areas and very young. I don't know why the networks don't want to let the nation know App State joined Div. 1 several years ago and is eve...

Re: College Sports Scandals

How is that even possible? I'm pretty sure there is no NCAA rule or regulation that specifically limits Larry Nassar from sexually abusing any student-athlete at MSU. This they can honestly say MSU and Nassar broke NO NCAA rules or regs. I'd bet a doughnut on that position. Possibly with a glass of...

Re: Random Thoughts Again

THC in blood is detectable far longer as previously discussed but the 3 hr limit on a breathalyzer may be true although I'm hard-pressed to believe much of anything I hear that is labeled "news" anymore. The pretty boy and girl talking heads read the teleprompters and smile, lift eyebrows ...

Re: Random Thoughts Again

That description appeared as one of a psychopath. Tragic that he would murder people over a video game tournament. He was a time bomb ticking away and the fuse was very short. Why are seemingly a small segment of society so immediately violent over slights, real or imagined? I believe its been that ...

Impaired has varied connotations. Booze, reaction time, drunken stupor, etc. High on weed, I don't know, I never experienced it. Texting on cell phone, eyes off the road. Result is as fatal as the drunk so really, what is the difference, the motive? Is is a "hate crime"? Oh my the dreaded ...

Grower, It's my understanding from medical laboratory professionals that MJ THC can be detected up to 21 days in a blood analysis. CBD can be detected up to 5 days in a urine screen. I did some research due to medical use becoming legal here and potential for pre-use trials without being detected. I...

Re: Random Thoughts Again

I believe, across the board, that most people are good. Or want to be good. Some are just dirtbags and they seem to be spread out across all genders and professions. In general I'd agree. My personal experience with police shows me something else as does all my family members experience with police...
