Re: Politics

I am no fan of this president, but I am not as vocal as some out there. I am under the impression that the hearing that outed Hannity also got a provision to get a group of federal agents that are separate from the Mueller team to go over all of the files taken in the raid on Cohen and make sure onl...

Re: Politics

You are right that Hannity isn't a journalist, but not revealing his involvement negatively impacts his credibility, if that's possible. Why you, or any of us, should care Is a whole different question. One that I can't answer...

Re: Politics

B-Dub, I think the issue with Hannity is the perception of a conflict of interest. First, he pushed very hard against the seizure of Cohen's records for days on the air. Then he requested that his name not be made public as client #3. Then he claims he isn't really a client, just a friend who slid t...

Re: Politics

One reality is that nobody gets out alive. I agree that the plan does sound like hospice care.

I met Mrs. Bush the night before the USA George H.W. Bush was commissioned. I don't know her but stood next to me and exchanged pleasantries. She struck me as a very nice woman.

Re: Politics

I like to consider myself to be fairly moderate when it comes to politics. I lean towards the democratic party, but it is a fairly even split with regards to my ideas of right and wrong. That said, I don't put too much stock in what the talking heads say as they seem to be lock stock and barrel left...

Re: Random Thoughts Again

Sorry to hear about Rocky, Carl. I agree that dogs are family when they can be a pain. I can't eat a bag of chips in peace anymore as my little center of the universe raps my leg begging for one. Even in failing health, few things are harder than putting a dog down. As for mowing the lawn, I agree t...

Re: Politics

The Navy recognizes these various mints each year and puts out a memo every November or so for the next year. I somehow he would react to this one when I read it. I agree that it's a lose-lose for Trump this month, but B-Dub is correct that it's his own fan fault. On another note, Sinclair Broadcast...

Re: Politics

I’ll bite, _dad. I have maintained that our country has been great for a long time in spite of our elected leaders, and we continue on that path. I hope.

Re: 2018 Baseball Season

I suppose I noticed a few years ago that they weren’t all the same time. I wouldn’t have guessed that a season would start with an inter league game, however. I suppose it doesn’t matter in the overall picture.

Re: 2018 Baseball Season

I haven’t followed MLB as a league, but watch some games when they are on and I have time. My father in law likes the Nats and I kind of follow the Orioles ( since Norfolk has their triple A team) and the Red’s until they are eliminated, so maybe four or five weeks. My question is, what happens to t...
