Re: Politics

I agree with you comments regarding previous presidents and you make a solid point. I maintain that Trump, while arguably not worse at this point, has know idea what he is doing and I would prefer that it not get to the poi t that lives are at risk. Maybe I am overstating things, maybe not.

Re: Politics

That's a fair statement, but not exactly what I meant. The reality is that this particular President has told well over three thousand lies just since talk h office. The ones about women who have accused of alleged sexual !misconduct or whatever are but a few on the massive list. He is a psychologic...

Re: Politics

I don’t care about his personal life and who or what he schtupped. I do care about all the freaking lies he has told about these alleged affairs, along with just about everything else. There is no longer a reason to believe a word he says and that brings discredit on the office and the Nation.

Re: Random Thoughts Again

Usually, when we travel, my wife will play on her phone a little bit then fall asleep while I drive. She will drive after we make a bathroom stop, and I am expected to engage in conversation to make sure she stays awake. Seems fair to me.

Re: Politics

As far as policy goes, I agree with you. I doubt any president could accomplish anything of substance with the disfunctional state Congress is in. The hatred from the media is, while not in much doubt, a different thing. Obviously, he is treated differently than previous presidents. (Not just Obama,...

Re: Politics

I’m not sure how he will play it, but I am sure his base will buy it hook, line and sinker. They always do. The Fake New York Times reported overnight that Trump was shown highly classified intelligence that Putin personally ordered the cyberattacks to influence the 2016 election. The report states ...

Re: Politics

Regarding the esteemed press secretary, she said that when he said no, he clearly meant that he wasn’t answering the question. Even though went on about how tough he is in Russia and how Putin understands this. I guess “it depends on what your definition of ‘is’ is” isn’t longer so absurd... And, fo...

Re: Politics

From the little bit I read, it seems he was completely surprised by the reaction to this whole thing and thought everyone would go and play their normal roles. He figured the Democrats and most of the press would go crazy, the Republicans and Fox woudl back him, and he could just continue on saying...

Considering this is a forum where we usually act respectfully, I won’t respond with my initial reaction. Suffice it to say my opinion of you has greatly reduced.

Re: Politics

What makes you think Putin needs permission? I don't understand how you can possible ask this. Obviously, Putin is going to do as he pleases regardless of what we think. With Trump not calling him out, it makes it easier for him. I am shocked that anyone in this country could possibly think our pre...
