Re: Politics

Regarding the esteemed press secretary, she said that when he said no, he clearly meant that he wasn’t answering the question. Even though went on about how tough he is in Russia and how Putin understands this. I guess “it depends on what your definition of ‘is’ is” isn’t longer so absurd... And, fo...

Re: Politics

From the little bit I read, it seems he was completely surprised by the reaction to this whole thing and thought everyone would go and play their normal roles. He figured the Democrats and most of the press would go crazy, the Republicans and Fox woudl back him, and he could just continue on saying...

Considering this is a forum where we usually act respectfully, I won’t respond with my initial reaction. Suffice it to say my opinion of you has greatly reduced.

Re: Politics

What makes you think Putin needs permission? I don't understand how you can possible ask this. Obviously, Putin is going to do as he pleases regardless of what we think. With Trump not calling him out, it makes it easier for him. I am shocked that anyone in this country could possibly think our pre...

Re: Politics

Well played, B-Dub! That’s a classic scene... What he did say was that he mis-spoke and meant to say he saw no reason to believe the Russians didn’t do it. Which, of course, is supported by his reasoning that Trump strongly denied it and his lack of concern during the Hannity verbal fellatio hour. (...

Re: Politics

He should have called Putin out on it rather that suck up to him. How is that difficult to understand? Sure, it would be a veiled threat, but he would have sided with his own country and its law enforcement rather tha. Throw them all under the bus.

Re: Politics

Two whole years. FFS, how long did the leaders in Congress investigate Hillary I’ve Benghazi and/or her email server? How long did the special council spend investigating President Clinton. Here’s a hint: waaaay longer than Two frigging years. If the current president has nothing to hide, maybe he s...

Re: Politics

Wow. That’s apples and oranges, _dad. The last time I looked, although Cultists don’t seem to agree anymore, the CIA was on the side of the good guys. I am not so into conspiracy that I believe Trump is Russian stooge or soy (but those theories are out there) but I can imagine Putin having dirt on h...

Re: Politics

I don’t know what to say. I have maintained that Trump was unfit to be president. And that is not to say Hillary was any better or worse, that argument no longer matters. If we want to compare him to previous presidents, I think that is fine. Along those lines, I wonder what Saint Ronny, who many Re...

Re: Politics

Nobody ever said diplomacy was bad, -dad. Riddle me this... Did Obama meet alone with Putin? Did he contradict US intelligence right in front of Putin? Did he blast US elected officials and the media on foreign soil?
