Re: 2017 NFL Football Season

I’m cool watched plenty of Super Bowls with teams I don’t like. But it’s nice to know you care!

Re: 2017 NFL Football Season

Well, most of the Patriots fans I know seem genuinely astonished to find out some people are fans of other teams! Same could be said for Redskins and Cowboys fans, in my opinion.

As for clam chowder, I do not recognize anything other than the New England variety...

Re: 2017 NFL Football Season

I know it’s early, but Jax is bringing it so far. They will keep 85% of the county watching. I’m hoping they keep it up no offense, _dad, I am just not a fan of Belichek and Company. Not that I have a favorite NFL team, my allegiance shifts when my fantasy draft is complete!

Re: Sandusky: final twitches

I agree completely, B-Dub. But, as we all know, they have failed miserably at the tasks that fall within their statues far too often of late.

Re: Sandusky: final twitches

For some reason, I never put the Olympic gymnasts situation together with MSU. I’m not sure why, but until the las week or so it thought they were desperate issues. Assuming I am not alone, that may speak volumes as to the lack of awareness based on no name versus big name cases. Maybe. Ironically, ...

Re: These are a few more of my favorite peeves

I have not heard a bad review of a Subaru before this, B-Dub. I owned an Impreza in the early 90’s and we bought the aforementioned Forrester last year after the Dodge Caiber was taken out in a hit and run overnight. Neither of these had Bluetooth, as they predate the improved technology, but I have...

My wife drives a Mazda VC7 and has the same problems with Bluetooth.

Re: These are a few more of my favorite peeves

That Emmert drives me crazy, too! I have no problem with the Bluetooth auto connection, and actually think it is a decent idea when it is set up or used properly. My wife, who is somewhat technologically challenged (but is making strides), has trouble with the voice dial commands and gets frustrated...

Re: Politics

We are a country of laws - we are not supposed to apply them uniformly without bias - that's why that chick wears a blindfold. Everyone who ever committed a crime can come with an emotion based justification of why they shouldn't be held accountable. Almost all us decry the loss of accountability i...

Re: 2017 NFL Football Season

My son, who doesn’t totally understand football (a failure on my part, I know) watched the last few minutes asthe Saints regained the lead. Before that last play, he asked what they should do. I said, they need a quick 20-25 yard pass completion to the sideline and stop the clock for the field goal ...
