Re: Random Thoughts Again

I worked The Who show about 2 years ago in DC. They didn't do Eminence Front which was a let down but it was still an excellent show. Ringo Starr's son Zak Starkey is the drummer for The Who. He's pretty awesome. I assume he's still with them.

Re: 2019 Recruiting Thread

They start early by enrolling in the summer session right after they graduate high school for one thing. As far as scholarships, you can still only sign 25 a year max I believe.

Re: 2019 Recruiting Thread

Franklin's plan is to basically have these guys get their degrees in 3.5 years so if they're good enough for the NFL they have their degree. And the transfer guys, most have graduated, they're not going to go pro and the reality is that Franklin and company are bringing in better talent. Lots of it....

Re: The Ongoing New Financial Era Thread

I love the Dollar Tree. Like B&W said, you can get stuff like shower gel and shampoo for cheap that is great for occasional uses. Sometimes they have good deals on some food items. Some is crap of course but some is decent. Cleaning products is another big savings. So are paper and plastic goods...

Re: Random Thoughts Again

For what it's worth I've been a member of the Dollar Shave Club for about 4 years now. I love it. I get new blades every other month. I change my blade about every two weeks or so and it works great for me. $6 every other month for blades is a steal compared to what you'd pay in a store. You have to...

Re: Epilogue to the 2018 Penn State Season

A lot of schools are experiencing this with the "portal" that now exists. Even OSU and Alabama. Like llama said, it's about playing time. I hate to say this, but the team will be pretty young in a lot of spots again next year. BUT, a lot of teams deal with that and the talent that is comin...

Re: Michigan Thread

I'm not too bugged about the blowout itself. It happens to almost everybody sometime. PSU has had a really good run of non-blowouts. Michigan 2016 actually. OSU got creamed last year by Iowa and this year by Purdue. It happens. But until today PSU had a 4th quarter lead in something like 35 straight...

Re: Michigan Thread

I'm a little shocked at how bad the beatdown was but I don' feel that bad. I fully expected to lose this game and had zero expectations and since the team never did anything to get me excited I'm feeling ok right now. I'm actually calmer than the last two weeks and they were wins!

Re: Michigan Thread

Ridiculous that I'm rooting so hard just to score. But for some reason, it makes me feel just a little bit better.
