I'm not too bugged about the blowout itself. It happens to almost everybody sometime. PSU has had a really good run of non-blowouts. Michigan 2016 actually. OSU got creamed last year by Iowa and this year by Purdue. It happens. But until today PSU had a 4th quarter lead in something like 35 straight...
I'm a little shocked at how bad the beatdown was but I don' feel that bad. I fully expected to lose this game and had zero expectations and since the team never did anything to get me excited I'm feeling ok right now. I'm actually calmer than the last two weeks and they were wins!
Yes, Stevens was hurt early this year but in '16 and '17 he could have played more but Franklin insists on leaving Trace in way too long. Coaching decisions didn't cost this game, Michigan is just way better but there is just no way this should be so completely non-competitive.
Chickens coming home to roost. Franklin likes to stay on the gas when the game is over so he's getting his own medicine. Man, what an ass-kicking. This team might possibly pack it in after this.
I know that Michigan's defense is good but the absolute domination of the PSU offensive line is unacceptable. They are not good. At all. Wisconsin's defense is not all that great so they could win that game but it will be tough. At this point only Rutgers is a pretty sure thing.
