Re: Random Thoughts Again

Shore My goal is to say goodbye to the lawnmower, the rake, the shovel and the umbrella when I retire. Good luck and hope you make it to Fla - you lose at least the shovel and rake. But you gain eighteen foot long burmese pythons and a pack of my aged, addled relatives who refuse to use their turn ...

I don't fly often but as we've discussed it is generally a pain. While the airlines deserve their share of the grief pe...

Drove from Tempe to Warren, PA. - without a spare - twice. scan0005.jpg House and car come with old wife / caretaker Tempe, is the B painted the official British royal blue or did you customize? I liked all the original colors except for popsicle orange....didn't work for me.

Re: Sparty Thread

Love it, Tempe. Upon seeing the pic of your car, I had a momentary twinge of regret that I sold my B. Then I remembered the smoldering residue of the barrels of money I saw go up in smoke. I am at peace.

Re: Sparty Thread

Beware of what you wish for. I got rid of mine ten years ago....it was totally restored but still turned into a bottomless money pit. So here is what will happen when Tempe's MGB leaves the warm, dry air of Arizona where road salt serves no purpose and lands in the harsh environs of Massachusetts: i...

Re: Beer and Booze

Just so's I can prove to you neanderthals that I'm an evolved male, I tried a Leinenkugel Harvest Patch Shandy last night.....pumpkin flavored beer....and really, really liked it. I would order that one again. But forget the Brussels sprouts.....that will never happen. Not in this lifetime or the ne...
