Re: These are a few more of my favorite peeves

tempe, in about six years we have 7.5 acres of rural land, beautiful that you could end up with to beat the heat. You do have to plow snow occasionally although not as much for the past five years. Plus, I have a tractor ready to go for you! IF you can stand a bunch of buckeyes hanging around you al...

Re: Other Sports

I've been a casual Pens fan since the 1970's and have had several great times with the championship teams BUT it is nice to see the cup travel around the league. A dominant team seemingly always winning the cup is boring (read yankees for illustration) to the remaining team's fans, understandably. S...

Re: Random Thoughts Again

I worked with a roofing company (my older brother's) my first two years of college. Never fell off a roof, but have fallen off of two ladders, unfortunately. 80# roll of roofing paper fell off the roof (long story) and struck me on top of my head as I was climbing the ladder, broke my C-5 vertebra, ...

Re: These are a few more of my favorite peeves

This is more of a First World Problem than a peeve, but I'm throwing it out. My gym doesn't turn the AC high enough in the locker room. I work out in the mornings before work, take a shower there and then get dressed and go to work. But, the problem is it's so damn humid in the locker room it is im...

Re: Random Thoughts Again

Impossible. Women burned their bras years ago. Plus I had more girls grab me than vise versa.

My best days were "judging" the kissing contests on the band bus which was infinitely better than "judging" the kissing contests on the football players bus.

Re: Random Thoughts Again

To correct B&W's comments of mine. i was comparing the slime of powerful men being universal even though all powerful men are not slime. Us regular gents have our own issues but I don't have that much time. Pres. Clinton has a long line of women accusing him of rape from the 70's through his pre...

Re: Random Thoughts Again

If Cosby fell, Weinstein is an easy mark for next in line. I read somewhere the Spacey also is up for scrutiny and the biggest fish in the sea, ex president Clinton, of course he won't ever pay for his years of molestation but this is how it works. So many powerful men used their positions to abuse ...

delco, you da man. Keep it up. I can't abide inconsiderate jerks as you describe. The "I"m so important I need to talk on my phone while I make you wait and waste your time because you don't count" jerk is a weed in society.
