Diamondbacks beat the Rockies in the World Series - or at least I think they did by the pictures in the local paper. Then they played some kind of exhibition game with the Dodgers - not sure what that is about.

Pretty funny Fister couldn't get out of the 2nd and the Sox still won.

They had very little shot of winning this series. And they had NO shot if they didn't hit. They're not in a position to win games 2-1 or 3-2. Their starting rotation is in shambles.

I just realized that Charlie Morton is 14-7. Darn guy couldn't even run to first base without pulling a hammy for the Phils last year. Whatever....can't root for the Redsox though...

Good things happen when you team averages over 5.5 runs a game. Not so good things happen when your team averages less than 4 runs a game, as the Phillies did last year. Plus, Morton doesn't have to run to first any more.

I was thinking more along the lines of Giancarlo Stanton.

Dusty Baker is the MLB version of Andy Reid. They are good a manager/head coach who can bring you to the house and even get you to the front door. For some reason though they can't seem to get inside.

That was the anti-Dusty. His problem is usually he never wants to take out a starting pitcher. I read that Scherzer was on a pitch count but the guy is throwing a no-hitter in the 7th. How do you pull him like that? That was amazing. I went to the Bears game last night and the tailgate I was at had the Cubs game on and people were hanging on every pitch. Everyone went wild when they came and got Scherzer off the mound. They knew it was over. Looks like it's going to rain in Chicago tonight. That means if the Cubs can't clinch tomorrow they could end up facing Scherzer again (although on short rest).

How do the Indians win 22 in a row and then give up 6 unearned runs against the Yankees? The entire city of Cleveland must be collectively vomiting this morning. That's brutal.

Hoping Kluber can regain his form for game 5. I'm going to be really unhappy if it's the Yankees-Astros.
