I saw my grandson play two epic t-ball games.

That sounds like a pretty great way to spend a weekend. Does he have an agent yet? I rep t-ball players as a side business.

So I flip to the Mets-Yankees in my office/man-cave and it's 4-1 Mets. Some time later I flip back and it's 9-4 Yankees. WTF?

Sorry, can't talk. I'm meditating.

The Red Sox season has been a disaster. And since there's little indication that they're going to get their collective heads out of their collective bums and salvage the season, I'm reduced to rooting against the Yankees.

Thanks for nothing.

That juiced ball is really having an impact. There were 127 home runs hit in the Phillies-Arizona game yesterday. And, the Nationals alone hit 45 of them the day before. I think I saw a ground ball leave the yard over the weekend.

It is making it very frustrating to watch.

Mets now leading 8-3. I presume they're not going to blow that?

Not that it matters. The Red Sox are getting their asses kicked again. How the f--- do you go from 108 wins and a waltz through the playoffs to mediocrity in one f---ing season? I hate baseball.

Mrs psu_dad: Language please.
Me: F---.

Ye of little faith.

9 - 3 in the 8th. I like their chances.

Mariners gifted the Yankees Edwin Encarnacion for nothing in return. The Yankees gave up some cash and some nothing prospect for him. That's really insane. When did the Mariners become part of the Yankee farm system? Did I miss an announcement?

According to MLB.com, the Yankees acquired the current AL HR leader for their 27th-ranked prospect. And the Mariners are eating half the money currently owed to Encarnacion.

That can't be right. I'm sure MLB.com will post a correction.

I was channel surfing a short while ago and Francesa's old partner was ranting about the Mets. He called them a "disaster". Does he ever speak at a normal volume? He always seems to have it set at "11".
