C'mon, you knew once you put that out there that people were going to do it. If anything, the word "recommendation" wasn't strong enough.

I know of a park where it is alleged that people can score Black Tar heroin. Remind me never to mention it by name.

I've never even heard of Black Tar heroin. So, you can mention the name and draw a map and I don't care.
Beautiful women posing naked, however, is a different story. Especially when there is a baseball connection.

Marlins fans must be loving the new ownership group about now.
Not to mention the tax payers of Miami-Dade county and the city of Miami paid 80% of the cost for their new park. And they borrowed (issued bonds) to pay for it. Forty years of paying that off. Apparently the details of the deal and its long-term cost came out just before the Miami mayoral election and the incumbent mayor got totally crushed in the election.
The new mayor declined an invitation to the ribbon-cutting ceremony when the park was completed. He wanted no part of attaching himself to that.

I remember the shenanigans around that stadium. It was borderline criminal fraud. The Marlins ownership flat out lied about their financial situation. I believe there was a similar situation with the PNC Park in Pittsburgh where the Pirates ownership misrepresented their financial situation when begging for taxpayer dollars.
As for the Marlins stripping down the team to the studs, it's defensible if it's part of a larger plan. But, Jeter didn't even attend the Winter Meetings and the optics look awful. He's lucky no one in Miami really cares about the Marlins.

The only person I ever knew associated with black tar heroin was Buggy Ding Dong and it didn't end well for him.

Apparently, the Phillies just signed another former Indians first baseman...

Evan Longoria traded to the Giants. Not sure what the return was, but it at least include Denard Span. I guess Tampa is mailing in the 2018 season.
