This whole thing has been a debacle! I decided to get a new name because I was trying to register for the new site and it never seemed to work. So I decided to try something new. Who am I? Check the name and think Phillies homer :D

For all those who think that Tempe is too paranoid to create a new account - well - you are right - so I had someone do it for me.

My other name had part of my name in it. I was never a fan of it for obvious reasons. I made that account in 2005 after PSU lost a tough one to Michigan  So I am now a changed man!! And Shore, i thought of that when I created that name :D Luckily, I like to grow a ton of vegetables!! My house is overflowing with veggies right now

Nice work, G....you'll always be G to me. I returned home from the beach last week to find a vast wasteland where my garden once grew. The blight got my tomatoes, cukes, watermelons and 'lopes. What the blight didn't get, the groundhogs did. Not even sure I'll have enough tomatoes to make sauce. All that work, love and tender care for not.
Yeah, well, that's like your opinion, man.

I don't have a garden, but I picked up a tomato plant just for grins and have been growing it in a pot on the patio. It's been so humid this summer that it's been a non-stop battle (fungicide spray and pruning) to protect it from blight.

I have good news to report......the groundhog finally went for the tasty treats I left in the Have-a-Heart trap. I delivered him to his new home about three miles and twenty gardens away from me. It's the third one I've trapped this summer. Garden is safe for the moment, but I fear his brethren still reside in the den. That is all.
