No way around it, we were screwed either way.

The Republicans are not the party of fiscal responsibility. The Democrats are not the party of peace, love and sunshine.

It baffles me how people lose their collective minds over the red - blue thing.

DJT must truly be batshit crazy if he can get the likes of James Mattis to resign.

Holy Jesus.

Apparently Trump had his own Vietnam battle. His battle was not getting an STD in the 90's and he compared it to Vietnam. I never heard that one before and I have no clue how any sane person could vote for him in 2020.

I look at it like this.

General Mattis led Marines into Kuwait during Desert Storm, then later commanded them in Afghanistan and Iraq II. Yet, he resigned from this administration because DJT scared the bejesus out of him.

That's all you need to know.

I disagree that Trump scared Mad Dog Mattis. The General knows that the President does not value or share his philosophy. As a result, he can not do his job effectively.

I suppose Mattis might have the same fears that may have regarding our man child president and the damage he can do on the world stage. But put the two in a cage and my money is on Mad Dog all day long.
