Interesting article about a wired house. I mean everything in it is attached to the Internet. The lady spoke of her vacuum, bed, "sex toy", etc. all being connected to the Internet and she is no porn star, well not yet. This is why I would never hook up anything I have to the "smart, connected, bold new future".
What's next, the poop cam?

Privacy, once lost it is difficult to reestablish.
So I got that going for me...which is nice. It's a cross between Kentucky Bluegrass, Featherbed Bent and Northern California Sensimilla so you can play 36 holes on it,take it home at night and get stoned to the begesses belt

We had a health scare with my mother in law last month. They are, as I see it, quite well of after a life of decent hard work and love on the eastern shore of Maryland on a nice plot of waterfronts property. My wife considered packing up and moving to help out if her mom didn’t progress. The one issue was internet connectivity there because she teaches online in her spare time. I like being able to access some things online, but kind of welcome the chance to not have a phone or computer connected all the time. I can’t imagine a tv with a camera and cache monitoring my every search and watching me watch tv. But, wats-her-nuts at the White House, KellyAnne, told us that our microwaves track is daily so maybe it’s inevitable...

Some of this is beyond me. Now there are YouTube "stars" being stalked and threatened.

I have no interest in that kind ot notoriety, although I wouldn't say "no" to the money that apparently comes with it. But, if the trade off is having to deal with some of what's in that article then no thanks.
Is it baseball season yet?

oh that's creepy. and I've got the same attitude to everything going too independent, like driverless cars and god forbid self-driving homes, this combo just kills me https://tranio.com/world/spotlight/self ... rket_5354/ like this episode of the Silicon Valley where the driverless car changes the route  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5UBdrMTxsvs
