He is a natural. The guy is extremely charismatic, and I predict he will end up in front of the camera when his playing career ends. And by the way, grower, the Pens kicked flyer ass so don't start making room on the mantle for Lord Stanley's Cup. It still belongs to Pittsburgh.

Relax, it is early!!!!

The Flyers are stagnant due to the lack of Howie Roseman being their GM. If Howie Roseman became the Flyers GM, the Pens would cease to exist. 8-)

Them's fightin' words, Crowbar. If we happen to meet, I might have to pull your flyers jersey over your head and whip out a spray can.
Yeah, well, that's like your opinion, man.

Looks like the Seahawks are blowing up their team and starting over. Richard Sherman just signed with the 49ers. Probably not a bad thing,

That team hasn't been right since the end of SB 49.

Giants signed former Patriots OT Nate Solder and made him the highest paid lineman in NFL history. I hope he lives up to billing. They also added guard Patrick Omameh. That settles the left side of their line. They have a center they seem to like and there is almost no chance they are going to use the 2nd pick in the draft to take a lineman for the right side.

So, they are either taking a QB, taking Barkley (if he's available) or trading that pick. That's my prediction.

There's no chance he lives up to the billing.

He's certainly not a stiff, but he's generally regarded as a slightly better than average left tackle. You'll usually find him ranked 10th-20th in rankings of left tackles. He's not going to suddenly morph into Joe Thomas. There was speculation he might get as much as 12M per, given the weak group of FA offensive lineman this year, but the 4-year 62M contact he got (with 34M guaranteed) seems crazy.

I'm not sure who the Giants were bidding against. It likely wasn't the Patriots.

So, Odell Beckham Jr is being sued for assault.

I think the Giants need to draft Barkley because they need a) help on the offense and b) another face to the franchise that isn't an asshole. As for OBJ, I think it has to be getting close to cut-bait time with him. He better come back strong from that injury because i can't imagine there is a lot of organizational patience for him right now.

And, the Eagles have their first post-Super Bowl crisis.

New Bird Michael Bennett was indicted on aggravated assault charges yesterday for allegedly, wait for this, assaulting a 66 year old paraplegic woman at SB 51. Now, even with Bennett's checkered past, I still want to give him the benefit of the doubt. I am just going to hope and pray this is either not true or highly exaggerated. However, if there is any truth to this, the Eagles need to cut him immediately. And he needs to spend a considerable amount of time in prison.
