Nice effort by the Giants today. They didn't just lose. They flat-out quit.

They are playing for McAdoo's job and it's obvious they don't want him to have one. He has clearly lost the locker room. He can't even recall where he last saw it.

On the plus side, my Sunday's are free for the foreseeable future if anyone wants to make plans.

Jaysus....what the hell was that? Talk about a total disintegration of anything that resembles a football team. The Giants could make Cleveland look like a super bowl contender.
Yeah, well, that's like your opinion, man.

The 49ers? Seriously? Sweet Merciful Jeezus, that's about as rock bottom as it gets. I'm getting a Ray Handley flashback.

Beat the 49ers, you are still not making the playoffs and you hurt your draft position. So, where is the down side? I'm glad they lost.

Plus, the current regime has 7 games left in their tenure. For me, the worst case scenario is the Giants go on some kind of mini winning streak, win like 5 or 6 games, and ownership starts to rethink cleaning house and commits to 1 more year of Jerry Rees and Ben McAdoo. No thanks. 1 - 15 or 2 - 14 assures that they get a top 1 or 2 draft pick AND a new regime. Win/win for Giants fans.

So, lose to the 49ers? <shrug>

I wouldn't worry about a mini winning streak unless they fire McAdoo mid-season. The team has totally quit on him.

Jenkins quit midplay yesterday. If the Giants don't bench him the rest of the season they are fools. He has no more guaranteed money so they can cut him in the spring without it costing anything. So, bench him. Don't let him take the field again.

I think the Giants need to bring back Billy Martin as HC.

Hilariously, that would not be the worst thing they could do right about now.

It would be difficult to perform Billy's trade mark kick dust over home plate trick. Maybe toilet paper the goal posts.
