It was one time in my life where I was rooting for the Deadskins. Philly has a tough stretch coming up and I don't want to have to go to New Orleans! I have said this for years, you do not take your foot off the gas until you put up 45+ points. Look at the PSU game. We took our foot off the gas but there was no way Nebraska was going to be able to score that many points.

Went to a bar to watch Eagles- Cowboys mostly because the patrons are as entertaining as watching football. They did not disappoint. This is same bar I would go to watch a Penn State game. PSU fans get into game but maybe because you rarely have many rival fans around (you usually have a couple PSU haters) it stays relatively civil.
Not so when there is some combo of Eagles-Giants-Cowboys game going on - it get's testy. For some reason NFL fans seem to be much more emotionally invested than college fans (and many PSU fans actually went to PSU). I've actually seen people bark at each other (and I mean imitate a dog bark) and get into fights. There are a few bars I won't go into on an NFL Sunday - the knucklehead factor is that bad.

I actually felt bad for Dallas fans last night - not because their team quit, not because they got whupped, not because they were getting teased by Eagles fans but if Wentz and the Eagles continue on this trajectory they will be on bad side of things for a few years to come.

CJF and JM may want to talk to Pedersen and Reich about halftime adjustments - dang that was a second half beating.

I won't watch a Giants game in a bar near where I live due to the knucklehead factor. I take a sufficient number of risks just wearing Giants and Mets clothing in my area. Going into a place where alcohol is served is potential suicide.

Did you hear the Eagles are 10-1, now they've got a 2 game road trip out west Seattle and the surprising Rams. I think they split and come back East and beat the Giants in East Rutherford. They end the season at home against the Raiders on Christmas and Cowboys on NYE to finish 14-2 and top seed in NFC. Wentz is looking like the real deal and the defense is playing better in the 2nd yr of Schwartz, special teams have been solid all season. The only times the Eagles have won a championship the QB's have all been #11, Tommy Thompson in 48 & 49 and Van Brocklin in 60. We shall see it's been an exciting fall to be an Eagles and PSU fan

Was that 1960 or 1860?

Eli Manning benched. The Giants are instead starting Geno Smith.

Here is a picture of me upon reading that.

Dad it was before my time regardless but it does feel like 1860, but since we're honest down here in Philly we can't win championships like New England :D :D

I love the fan noise inserted after each play. Very realistic.

When a team goes into Official Tank Mode, is there a form they have to file with the league? I should probably ask someone in the Colts front office. They have a lot of experience with that.
