Also, please Tom, don't talk how you feel "unappreciated."

What, the parade wasn't big enough? The adulation aren't sincere enough? Did he really, seriously say he feels unappreciated?

What a dick. He makes millions of dollars playing football and doing endorsements. People cheer for him and they give him a ton of money. How much more appreciation does he require? Some of these guys are just mega divas and mega assholes.

Yes, he did imply he does not feel appreciated. He said " I plead the fifth" when asked if he does feel appreciated. I think he was talking about the team, not fans, per se.

However, didn't they just trade a suitable replacement at his request?

And I forgot to mention he is a millionaire a million times over on top of everything else.

Maybe he was having a bad hair day. That usually makes me cranky.

So I read in the NYT that the Washington Redskins apparently pimp out their cheerleaders.

Great. Not only are they a colossal embarrassment on the field, they are apparently a colossal embarrassment off the field too.

I just read the NYT article after seeing your post. It sounds like its going to take a rape for teams to stop playing with fire.

The whole idea of cheerleaders for NFL teams should probably be scrapped. It's a scandal and a lawsuit waiting to happen. And, that's not even talking about the current lawsuits.

JJ Watt said he is going pay the funeral expenses for all the Santa Fe victims.

He is quickly becoming one of my favorite human beings on Earth.

Dwight Clark died today from ALS. I wonder what the incidence of ALS is in the NFL vs. the general population? And, if it's higher, I wonder if it's higher in other sports, too. Btw, the best part of that video I linked are the outfits people are wearing in the stands.

I also saw the Eagles were uninvited to visit the White House.

Yeah Dear Leader has uninvited the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles to the White House tomorrow because the whole team wasn't going. His statement talks about how they disagreed about standing for the anthem although no player on the Eagles kneeled. Malcolm Jenkins raised his fist and Chris Long put his arm around him in solidarity, Long also donated his 2017 salary to charity and Jenkins and Torrey Smith have met repeatedly with politicians, law enforcement and community leaders to discuss their feelings regarding the issues.

Trump changed his story to state that very few Eagles planned on attending so he disinvited the entire team. I saw a comment that maybe 10 planned on going.
