I completely agree with your post Crow. The one area where my interest is growing is the Sixers. I DVR them and can watch a game later in the night in less than 60 minutes. It is a beautiful thing!! BTW, I would just on the Sixers bandwagon because it is going to be fun the next few years!

Remember when the Eagles won the Super Bowl and the 2 of you were talking about this being the start of a dynsty? And now, not even half way through the next season, you guys are like "well, I don't even really like the NFL...."

Hilarious. And, those are the Eagles fans I've come to know.

first off, relax! I am down on all sports except the Sixers and PSU! I don't have the time anymore. I will still watch the Eagles and think they will still win the East. They are only 2 games back of the Deadskins and should go 8-0 in the East. Wentz is still getting back to par and the defense will play better! The Eagles have a tough schedule since they were Superbowl champions!! I say we go 10-6 to win East

You better hope they win the East because it seems highly unlikely a wild card comes out of the East this year. You never know, though. A lot can happen the rest of the way of the season.

Right now, I like the skins to take that division, which is fine with me. I find them to be the last offensive of all the NFC rivals the Giants have (maybe because they have sucked for so long).

The only way they get in is by winning the East, 2 losses this yr where if they make a stop on 4th down they win. Very frustrating just like PSU, if Wentz checks down on 3rd down Smallwood is wide open in the flat for a 1st down and possible touchdown. Got conservative on defense after going up 17-0 and Doug got pass happy throwing on 12 of 14 plays and not running after getting up 17-0. Terrible all around

I was pissed that the D was playing where you keep everything in front of you. We had a shut out because the D worked their asses off and then Schwartz pulls the preventive crap!

Ray Carruth was released from prison today. I saw that the guy he hired to actually shoot and kill his girlfriend can't get out of prison until 2046. I get how the hit man is in for life, or near life. I don't get how the guy who hires him is walking free after 18 years. That doesn't seem right to me.

That wasn't by design. They gave the hit man a deal (2nd degree murder) in return for his testimony against Carruth. They charged Carruth with 1st degree murder, for which he was found not guilty. He was convicted on the additional charge of conspiracy to commit murder, which apparently doesn't involve as serious a sentence.

Some people saw it as a blunder on the part of the prosecution. The jury later said they would have convicted Carruth on a 2nd degree murder charge, but he wasn't charged with that. The prosecution went for the home run and only reached the warning track.

Raiders traded Amari Cooper to Cowboys for a first round pick. I guess the Cowboys think they can still win that division.
