Keep up the good work, Redskins.

I am rethinking my original response to this post. Maybe the Redskins really are distancing themselves from the league in terms of who they keep and who they cut. Especially after this.

Jack Kent Cooke was no angel. But he is starting to look like Mother Theresa compared to ass clown Dan Snyder.

The only "good" in all this is, from a football perspective (I.e., Eagles fan), is Snyder is ensuring the Redskins stay perennially irrelevant.

I just hope Da Bears don't empty their bench and essentially hand the Vikings the last WC spot. The reality is the defending Super Bowl champions are going to absolutely, positively destroy the Redskins on Sunday.

The Bears are still trying to get the #2 seed. They need the win and the Rams to lose. Both teams play the late game. So, I'd expect the Bears to come out swinging. They are not going to just hand that game over to the Vikings.

First off, awesome win by Da Bears and the Eagles!!! Cannot wait to watch the game next Sunday at 4:40!! Side note, the coach of the Bears graduated a year after me at Manheim Central. It is a small suburban farm school. Anyways, the town has been on a high since he was hired in Chicago. I have nothing but good things to say about him. He was a good guy in high school (married his high school sweetheart) and continued that trend into adulthood. BTW, you hear about football IQ, well, Nagy's IQ was fantastic as a teenager! BTW, the sports world continues to get his last name wrong. It is pronounced Neggy

2nd, Wentz stock has to be going down at this point. I realize he is going to GET PAID but Foles won the city a Superbowl and just got us into a a playoffs when Wentz couldn't. It will be interesting to see how this plays out

In the meantime, I will be rocking with the Eagles next Sunday evening!!

I think Wentz is the better and more consistent QB overall. But, you're right in that FOLES has some magic touch or something. Even if Carson miraculously recovers, they still need to ride the FOLES train back to the Super Bowl.

Cool story about Da Bears coach!

Adam Gase out at Miami. Marvin Lewis out at Cincinnati.

Amazing Lewis survived that long. In 16 years he is like 3 games over .500 and has never one a single playoff game. I get the Bengals have crappy ownership but to never win a single post season game in 16 years is crazy. They gave him every single opportunity there and he just never delivered.

I completely agree about Lewis! How he was able to stay there is unbelievable because the NFL has become a what have you done for me lately league. I am not sure he brought in the right guys at times. Cincy has been thug central and that doesn't seem to work in the NFL. See Dallas a few years ago.

I don't understand how the Bengals could have a single season ticket owner when their owner clearly doesn't give a rat's patooty about winning a championship. A least the Jets (bless their hearts) fire their HC every few years.

Try to imagine patronizing the same restaurant for 16 years where the food sucks and they always mess up your order. People would think you had lost your mind.
