Former Players Thread

Didn't want to corrupt the Steve Smith thread so starting a new thread for former players.

Michael Robinson scored a TD for the Seahawks shortly before the half. Nice to hear his name called again. Tough to believe it has been 7 years since he left PSU.

And a former player scored the only TD for Oklahoma in the bowl game the other night ;-)

Since he's technically now a former player...

Stank was named a captain for his East team in the East-West Shrine Game.

I'm sure that Mark Emmert is giving himself a pat on the back for helping to fix that horrible culture at Penn State...

Congrats to Navorro Bowman, not only for going to the Super Bowl but for batting down that last pass to White to seal the 49ers win last night. He was kind of draped on his back and at the time I thought it was interference, but I re-watched it a few times this morning and, while it was close, it looked a little cleaner than I first thought.

Hey, if White had gotten some separation it never was an issue.

Good luck in the big game, and hope you crush the Ravens and completely overshadow Lewis.

It's Tuesday morning, some 12 days before the Super Bowl and I am already tired of hearing about Ray Lewis.

I heard on the local news this morning that Corbett had approximately 75 former players for dinner at his mansion. Rumor has it that he explained to the players why he did what he did. Can anyone verify this report?

PennLive confirmed the meeting, although most players wouldn't speak about it. They did get some quotes from Travis Forney, and mentioned Mickey Shuler, Adam Taliafero, and a few others by name.
