Just to be clear - at 3-8, MSU is NOT under any bowl consideration, except perhaps the East Lansing village turkey bowl on Thursday, which Dantonio would surely frown upon at this point.

I did not realize their record was that bad.

Oh, then they are going to be totally deflated.

This may help sum up why this team is having the success they are:

"I remember watching the Michigan game my junior year in high school. I was amazed. Obviously they were spectacular athletes, Allen Robinson making plays for us. The fight that they had, they would never quit. That's what you want. That's the kind of program you want to play for."

Saquon Barkley (4 days prior to getting his scholarship offer from PSU)

The never say die attitude has been the mantra of this team and rightfully so.
There are no excuses except those you make for yourself

I am soooo excited for tomorrow. I want to go to bed early so the day starts as soon as possible! I hope OSU beats MU so we have a chance at a Big10 title!
Tomorrow:
osu- 35
mu- 17
it is not much of a game because osu roles offensively but plays half decent d

PSU- 41
msu- 24 because they can run the ball. We head into Big 10 title game for a chance at final 4 (need Washington to lose IMO)

No matter the outcome of both games today - it's just been plain fun having a team in the mix, especially the way it's gone down for the Lions coming out of nowhere and all. Even if we'd lose (which will NOT happen!), I might shed a tear in honor of these seniors who gutted out 4-5 years of tough times to finally be in this position. And the media still isn't ready to embrace us, which makes it all the sweeter.

I spent my teenage years in Columbus. I always had a sense that something was up between the fan base of tOSU and the Michigan fan base. Sort of like when you know a man and a woman who don't get along publicly, but you have suspicions that behind that friction lays some deeper feelings. Then, sure enough, you find them making out in the bathroom at a party.

Notre Dame and USC? They don't give off that vibe.

Alabama and Auburn? Nah, one will always be on top, hilding the other in cotempt, while the other will forever be a wannabe.

Harvard and Yale? Contempt, plain and simple.

USC and UCLA? See Alabama and Auburn

Texas and Oklahoma? One would do ANYTHING to screw the other.

Army and Navy? Even when they are 60 the dislike continues.

tOSU and Michigan? They share that they desperately want the world to pay attention to them. You get a sense that they live for one another. You don't get that with any of the other rivals.

Let it begin Sparty Week

This morning Firefox wont let me onto the forum, but as this post shows, IE9 does.
I think it has happened before.
Is there something I can do to fix it?
