Shaping up to be a pretty big recruiting weekend. I read on another site that there will be at least 25 4 and 5 star kids at the game. Now that counts both of the next two recruiting classes, but that's some serious talent that will be on the sidelines for the "scrimmage".

So, after Curtis Enis was mentioned, I was wondering what he's been up to the past 20 years. So, I googled him.

Oops.

Per article his son plays HS ball in Phoenix - so don't know if Enis' license doesn't reflect his current residence or if he isn't primary parent. At any rate - if your going to the B&W game this weekend you may want to keep your head on swivel and have your best spin move ready.

Son is a 4 star recruit with offers from most teams in top half of Pac 12.

That duo of Aaron Harris and Curtis Enis was nearly unstoppable.
A good team has to have players capable of making plays...oh, wait - we're so there!

BTW- I have been hearing that JF will somehow let the media suit up for the spring game. I have no clue how it works but we will see Sat.

I watched on BTN. It was pretty lackluster. Juwan Johnson had some nice catches but also dropped a few. Obviously the big names did not play. The backup RBs look bigger and better, lots of depth there. Hard to get a real sense of the DL since if one even laid a hand on a QB it was considered a sack. I think there is some young talent at LB. Feel good about the Offensive Line, a nice mix of experience, youth and talent. It was mentioned that Joey "Big Toe" Julius did not practice with the team this Spring. No idea why.

A student of mine went and waited 3.5 hours to get Barkley's autograph. They ended up leaving after the first quarter. He enjoyed it though

Sorry I can't figure out how to post a link here but I just saw a clip of Tim Shaw talking to the team this weekend. It was only about 45 seconds or so but it was very powerful and moving. Take a look at it when you can.

I looked it up .... instantly made me think of the Gerhig or Valvano speech and maybe even more so Lauren Hill (the person who should have gotten courage award at ESPY instead of Caitlyn Jenner).

It's rough to see a guy (or anybody) who made to the top level of sport so ravaged by a disease.

Love my #11 PSU jersey but that made me think about getting a #57.
