Short term thinking. He can barely think past Friday night.

W-wait - today's Friday?

Anyway - shaping up to be a nice class - think we get Castro-Fields, actually, but that may be me whistlin' Dixie.

Sure would love to get up there for a beer and a game with you guys - it'd be fun.

The Patriot News lists Ellis Brooks as the lone commit yet to fax his LOI....as of 10:15. Looks like a great class.
Yeah, well...you know...that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

Ellis Brooks is signed. Castro-Fields will announce his decision today at 2pm. What a great finish if CF chooses PSU. Regardless, today's outcome is preferable to last year. Success breeds success and this freight train is rolling.

Kamonte Carter signed an LOI to play for Pitt....yep, that's the same Kamonte Carter that was booted off the team bt JF for violating team rules or something like that.

Yes, looked like I spoke too soon when I said he was probably going to Maryland. Welcome, and nice overall class this year.

It's a really good class. And some of these kids are really big already! Anxious to see what they'll look like after a year in the strength and conditioning program.

Like I said a week or so ago, I have not been this excited about PSU football in a very long time.

A lot to be excited about. Guess whistlin' Dixie was the right tune. Sometimes I get lucky...

Great class, great finish. So many past classes lost key recruits near the end, this one lost one too but more than made up for it by signing a better replacement and two more late signers. I can't remember three last few day signers ever.

And....Dixie is a great tune to whistle. Catchy, was a nationwide hit in 1859 starting in NYC for a minstrel show as their closing number where it was written by a man born in Mt. Vernon, OH only 25 miles from me, Daniel Decatur Emmett. Uncle Dan wrote it in a day or so between engagements under orders from the band leader to come up with a new number to close the show, bring down the house, which it did from the first performance on. The song spread like wildfire and was a favorite nationwide overnight. So whistle on 92, you are in good company.
