Tubman is a 4* on 247, and for good reason. He only started playing football recently, so he's pretty raw, but he's 6-4, 235, and runs a 4.5 40. He's bigger, stronger, and faster than Aaron Maybin at this point in his career. He's monstrously athletic, and with good coaching, could turn out to be a BEAST.

Sorrel is a TE who projects as a LT. He's got a massive frame that he'll need to fill out, and probably won't contribute for at least 3 years, but has a lot of upside. Very similar to Noah Beh actually.

Also worh noting that both kids de-committed, and then contacted Coach Franklin, and weren't targeted. They got offers when they called him up.

Franklin flips Vandy commit #3. OT Brendan Brosnan, from Parkridge, Illinois. Technically, this leaves 1 spot left in the class. However, I suspect Holley will not be a part of this class, so that means 2 left - and I hope one of them is a DT.

I have no issue with the flipping of commits, but none of the three who flipped can be expected to play next year. I'm more concerned with him working Holley, and hoping he'll grab another high profile player for this class who at least has a shot at the field next season.
A good team has to have players capable of making plays...oh, wait - we're so there!

Another flip - Trace McSorley, VA QB/DB, a 3 star from VA changes from Vandy to PSU. Committed this weekend, and canx a visit to Nashville next weekend.

Saeed Blacknall just flipped to us from Rutgers...and is the highest rated WR we not have. We have the very best WR class in the nation. It's pretty absurd.

With Sanctions, we have around the 13th ranked class in America in 247sports...ahead of Michigan, and #2 in the big 10.

When Joe Paterno was about to retire, I figured that the new coach would be able to dominate this region, expand out to Virginia and the Carolinas, and pick off national recruits to fill out the class...and would give us the best recruiting potential in the conference.

That's what Franklin is doing right now.

Amani Oru(something) has flipped from Vandy to PSU. Sounds like there may be one more scholly on the table for someone to take.

Amani Oruwariye, 3* 6'1" DB from Florida.

Yes, one spot left. We were able to count all 5 early enrollees back to the class of 2013. That will give us 25 this go-round.
