A ban list? How Trumpian of you.

B-Dub, no, it isn't easy raising kids. There are times when it is downright difficult but there are times when it is pretty damn rewarding as well. But, I'm sure you know that.

_dad, grandkids are the Emmert! It makes up for all the stress from our own kids. You can do what you want, feed them what you want, buy what you want, keep them up late if you want, and give them back when you want!

Headed back to PA next week to visit our daughter/SIL and our grandchildren for the first time since Christmas. Looking forward to it as is Mrs. srsvii/spackler. We will haul a minataure tractor like "poppy's" in Ohio for our grandson. He loves to ride around the yard and this will be the real real for him. Can't wait to see his face when he first sees the new toy. Granddaughter will be ONE later this month so its also a birthday party of sorts. Grandchildren, as Lion noted are the best and you can leave them with their parents and go home too!

SON: You can't leave the table until you finish your veggies.
4YO GRANDSON: You can't be serious.
MRS DAD: <holding hand over nose to prevent Diet Coke from coming out>

Somehow, she didn't find this funny thirty years ago. :D

I have to have a medical test done shortly and the run around in the insurance deal is difficult. First, the closest service is not listed on the web site of the ins. company (BC/BS) and that was surprising as it is listed for every other test? Called the next nearest (35 mins.) hospital who was listed and after five transfers I got a price so I could figure my 10% co-pay (met my 1 grand deductible already) so I knew I could have it done. Mrs Spackler told me the closer hospital (20 mins.) HAS to accept BC/BS, they all do. So I all them today and low and behold, they do accept the insurance and do the exact test, for less than the further away hospital so I have a reduced co-pay. Woo Hoo-ey.

I could go on all day so I won't bore you. I do have to say, there is such a difference in various medical service vendors, doctors, and staffs. My new specialist is so much more professional than the previous one it is astounding, until yesterday when even Mrs. Spackler said they sure seemed mixed up as to why you were here and seemed to have no idea what they should be doing for a follow up visit. Eventually it was settled and my refills were faxed to St.Louis. If I don't hear from anyone I'll be very happy when the refills arrive by mail next week, a three month supply with the same price to me as a one month supply locally. Enough of Carl's little he!!, on to the Masters! What a touching tee off yesterday when they announced the tribute to the greatest ambassador of golf ever, Mr. Arnold Palmer RIP. Everyone attending received an Arnold's Army button with the date on it. Nice keepsake and memory of a great man.

So, for those of you with teens, or kids who will soon be teens, I solved my teen drinking problem with these. If a kid really wants to pull that off, he probably can but he may break the bottle and he's certainly going to break the lock -- and I'm sort of going to notice that. I figure this will be enough of a deterrent that it's hopefully not a problem in the future.

Possible terrorist attack on a a German football club, Borrusia Dortmond. They have the American phenom, Christian Pulisic, on their team. Apparently there were 3 bombs hidden in some hedges and when the bus pulled out of the parking lot...BOOM. I can't remember a terrorist attack on a professionally team. There have been silly fans but I wouldn't characterize those as terrorist attacks. BTW, this has not been classified as a terrorist attack as I am assuming.
