I have to have a medical test done shortly and the run around in the insurance deal is difficult. First, the closest service is not listed on the web site of the ins. company (BC/BS) and that was surprising as it is listed for every other test? Called the next nearest (35 mins.) hospital who was listed and after five transfers I got a price so I could figure my 10% co-pay (met my 1 grand deductible already) so I knew I could have it done. Mrs Spackler told me the closer hospital (20 mins.) HAS to accept BC/BS, they all do. So I all them today and low and behold, they do accept the insurance and do the exact test, for less than the further away hospital so I have a reduced co-pay. Woo Hoo-ey.
I could go on all day so I won't bore you. I do have to say, there is such a difference in various medical service vendors, doctors, and staffs. My new specialist is so much more professional than the previous one it is astounding, until yesterday when even Mrs. Spackler said they sure seemed mixed up as to why you were here and seemed to have no idea what they should be doing for a follow up visit. Eventually it was settled and my refills were faxed to St.Louis. If I don't hear from anyone I'll be very happy when the refills arrive by mail next week, a three month supply with the same price to me as a one month supply locally. Enough of Carl's little he!!, on to the Masters! What a touching tee off yesterday when they announced the tribute to the greatest ambassador of golf ever, Mr. Arnold Palmer RIP. Everyone attending received an Arnold's Army button with the date on it. Nice keepsake and memory of a great man.
