Tix

Postby PSUPappy » Fri Aug 31, 2012 7:29 am

Just want to update my interest in 2 tix for each of the Ohio U (9-1), Temple (9-22), OSU (10-27) and Wisconsin (11-24) games. First year of not having season tix in a long time, but we're still looking to go to as many games as possible. Don't plan to buy tix through PSU. So, we're letting friends and other folks know of our interest in as many ways as possible.

Even if we don't get tix before game days, we're gonna drive up and see if we can buy downtown or on campus. I don't remember too many games over the years that something hasn't been available.

So, if anybody bumps into extras...I'm interested.

Thanks.

Pappy

You my want to check stubhub as well. Usually a good place to get tickets and if the event is not sold out, you can usually get a good a decent discount.

I took the family to see the Mets-Phillies yesterday. We decided to go yesterday morning and got great seats for under $100 for the 4 of them.

Looked for tix on Stubhub,
suggested by Bdub.
Many were listed there,
and most prices seemed fair.

But decided to try
Happy Valley to buy.
Things worked out very well,
finding someone to sell.

So we got to the game,
and we achieved our aim.
But will use this new source,
thanks to Bdub, of course.

Thanks Bdub....I'm sure we'll visit Stubhub in the future. Knew a little bit about it, but until now never knew anyone who used the site. Odd how things work sometimes...since then this subject has come up in several conversations, including one with our son.

If it wasn't for stubhub, I'd see no games at all.

Seriously, almost every baseball game I've seen in the past 5 years has been a result of stubhub. It is a great source for tickets. Just be warned that, where demand is high, the prices go high too. It can be a source for lower prices, but not in all instances.

Pappy waxes poetic, who knew?
Was it STEP he did eschew?
Of stubhub did he skew?

Thanks. I'll check it out again, but not interested in the North end zone s upper deck...nor do I want to pay premium prices. Plan, if we don't get tix before game day, is to drive up & try downtown &/or on the walk up to the stadium. Failing that, we'll go home & watch it on the DVR.
