That's the good news for the day. The bad is that is sounds like OL Jakai Moore is going to pick South Carolina over PSU. He was a guy most had penciled in PSU's class for most of the year.

If you had to take one of the two, you'd take Isaac. One of the best in the nation.

Don't think there will be many surprises end of this cycle for us. Landing Cornelius Johnson or Zach Harrison seem like extraordinary longshots. Noah Cain seems like a possibility.

In any case, if PSU signs up all their commits, it will be another top 15 class in a weak region and will fewer 'ships being extended. Pretty darn good...

If Noah Cain doesn't sign with PSU, then something will have changed over the next 48 hours. At this point, I think most predictions say he is going to Penn State. If Sanders comes back next year, which I think he will, our RB room will be absolutely loaded with talent.

In other news, apparently Justin Fields wants out of Georgia.

Amazing talent, unlikely he comes here though, right? Would sit behind Stevens and Clifford in depth chart at least. Suppose he could come and outplay Clifford.

Shame he flipped his commitment in the first place. He was an ideal type of player for our offensive system. Let’s just hope he doesn’t go to meatchicken.

As for why - I wonder how much the racial abuse played into his decision...

"the" racial abuse? Can you elaborate on what happened? I honestly know nothing about it.

A member of the Georgia baseball team hurled the n-word at Fields during a football game. That player has since been dismissed from the baseball team - he admitted to the offense himself and multiple witnesses corroborated Fields' allegations.

Has to be pretty jarring and unnerving for a kid to hear that. Don't know if that played a part in any of this. Could also be purely football related (he is going to sit behind Fromm for a while and they seem to run more of a pro-style offense down there).

Saw an article suggesting Oklahoma or OSU as landing spots for Fields.

Let's hope for a surprise-free day. Two things I am looking for 1) getting Noah Cain on board, 2) getting Dunmore signed up who seems to be wavering a bit. Dont think Ellie will commit today.

Zach Harrison is probably out of play for us. Cornelius Johnson committed to Michigan, which is having a great day today since they also flipped Daxton Hill from Alabama (ugh).

Brandon Smith has sent in his letter. 5 star linebacker recruits dont' grow on trees, so that's a huge "get".
