He was with the Giants, too. I'd have to check, but I think he was better with Big Blue than the Oilers.

GB started as a DB at PSU and I think only had one year as the feature RB. Still remember him pulling the ball from Detmer on a Statue of Liberty play in Holiday Bowl vs BYU and going for TD.
In a Catch 22 - happy to see Paul P. finally make it to playoffs, sad to see he's being phased out at Jags and not sure he even saw a snap in the game.

I thought he got hurt during the game. He's got to be at the end of his road by now. I can't imagine he doesn't retire soon.

I didn't see whole game so injury is possible but his snaps are definitely down this year. He may be at the end of his deal with the Jags so question will be how cheap will he play for as he's likely a good back up and from any account I've read a good leader / teammate in locker.

Tamba Hali cut by the Chiefs after 12 years. What a career he had. By all accounts he made us Penn State proud both on and off the field.

I'll never forget Tamba sacking Troy Smith, flipping him completely over and causing the fumble that sealed the deal in the 2005 OSU game. Beaver Stadium just came apart that night. That was the greatest sporting atmosphere I've ever experienced. Admittedly my sample size is relatively small but still.

Re: Former Players Thread
I just received a notification that Paul Posluszny announced his retirement. Bummer, though another fine example of Success with Honor.
I've been in Beaver Stadium for three "come aparts": 2002, Gardner's pick-6 versus Nebraska; 2005, Hali's sack; and 2016, Haley's return of the blocked field goal.
