Vlad "the impaler" is from a high school not very far from my alma mater. Joe Nastasi was a fellow NBC HS grad. Not many athletes from our rural area catch on to div. 1 schools as athletes but now there are four on the PSU football team counting Vlad. Surprising and impressive.

All hail the NBC Black Panthers, Carl. Bedford county is a beautiful part of the world. One of my favorite trout streams is Yellow Creek near New Enterprise....dependable hatches, big brownies and great fly fishing. Can't wait for spring.
Yeah, well, that's like your opinion, man.

Some of that water came from my families farm along the eastern slope of Brumbaugh/Dunnings Mt. between Lafayetteville and Bakers Summit, two large metropolises. So you know of the famous NBC schools? I know our scores always ran on WJAC TV. And yes the trout stream is world famous. They line up for miles every opening day. Actually causes traffic jams, imagine that in Morrisons Cove.

Rasheed Walker to Penn State. Welcome Mr. Walker. Now we wait for Mr. Enis.
Yeah, well, that's like your opinion, man.

That's big news. OSU made quite the late push for Walker. From what I've read it sounds like he's a really good kid too. He's already got size. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't redshirt and actually plays some meaningful snaps next season.

Solomon Enis to Utah and Shaquon Anderson-Butts of Harrisburg, a long-time PSU commit, signs with a community college in Iowa??? I'm thinking academics could have been an issue. All told, an outstanding class with three highly regarded receivers on board. Wondering if that factored into Enis's decision to sign with the utes.
Yeah, well, that's like your opinion, man.

Walker is a big get and Anderson Butts was definitely academically related. Enis and dad were in PSUs corner but sounds like mom was not going to have it. It sounds like she and Dad don’t get along at all and she wasn’t thrilled about her son going to his dads alma mater.

Shane is hearing what I'm hearing. Mad thanks for posting the Walker news.

Utah has been decent recently but I'm still a bit surprised, possibly it was a distance issue for mom? who knows.

It's been out there for a few weeks that academic issues were the problem with Butts. Walker is the big deal today. The future is really bright for Penn State football.

Shame about Enis. I loved watching his dad plow through defenses back in the late 90s. Would have loved to have his son. At least he's not heading to another Big10 school. That would really have sucked. I wish him the best with the Utes.
