I want to know who the PSU alumni were that weren't sure about Franklin when he was hired. I call bullshit on that comment. There were some concerns after his first few years but I can't think of any comments about him not being a great hire when it was announced.

Talking heads, we had some on this board that were concerned but most recognized he should have until a few years after sanctions were removed. They also have Trace as a superstar but some of us have reservations. Good? Yes. But a lot of hyperbole. There are 15 top 5 QB's every year!
