4 Star OT Olu Fashanu has committed to PSU. Though lacking the star power in the skill positions, this is quite the haul this recruiting cycle for offensive lineman.

Let's hope they remind us of the 1994 line.
If at first you don't succeed, give up. There is no hope for you.

Just lost a 4* commit to tOSU. They keep recruiting like monsters even post-Urban. That Flemming news was a killer. He visited PSU basically every weekend last season only to end up elsewhere. Bah! He is going to be special.

BTW, was this site inaccessible to people for a while? Sorry if this was discussed elsewhere, but I tried coming here for weeks only to get an error message...

Yes. We got hacked and it took almost a month for Mark to figure out what they did and fix it. We have been up and running for like 2 weeks now. Some people are still trickling back on.

Yeah that one hurts because he was a verbal commitment. That and Fleming are big losses in the last two weeks. I really do like James Franklin but I am starting to wonder if his many boneheaded decisions in games is coming back to haunt him on the recruiting trail. You have to think other coaches are basically saying "in a tight game do you want to be with us or with Franklin where he makes another bad decision?"

The 2016 BIG Championship game was on TV this weekend. I got sucked into watching it for that hour. Twice in the first half Franklin went for it on 4th down in the first half and didn't convert either one. Even with their mistakes early in that game PSU wins easily by double digits if he doesn't put his team in bad positions. In the bowl game this year he tried a fake punt from his own 28 in the first quarter. Fail. WTF?

His girlfriend attended PSU and is why he was there so often. They broke up and about a week later news started to come out that he was trending to the Buckeyes.

Our highest rated commit just backed out of his verbal. His HS teammate might do the same. Every year I tell myself not to get too wrapped up in the whims of teenagers, but then fall into the same trap haha. The region has high potential this year, so was looking forward to a monster class. Could still happen, but they need to put wins on the board this year for sure...

Disappointing that OSU loses its super recruiting HC and instead of gaining recruits from them we lose?
