Well, if the Pirates average 6 runs per game for the season, I'll by two of them and eat one of them.

And just what do you plan to do with the other hat?
Yeah, well, that's like your opinion, man.

Met have now lost 2 in a row. Season f*ing over already.

Baseball sucks.

Take a gander at the ABs, H, K and BAs of some Oriole regulars so far - so combo of these guys generally comprise the Orioles 6-9 hitters every night.

That's 96 Ks in 245 ABs against 37 hits and a grand BA of .151 - so nearly half your line up is hitting a buck and two quarters.

Anthony Santander
43 8 14 .186

Tim Beckham
66 11 24 .167

Chris Davis
56 7 21 .125

Danny Valencia
25 6 8 .120

Colby Rasmus
21 2 13 .095

Caleb Joseph
34 3 16 .088

This is like having Dean Wormer give the Deltas their mid term grades.

Mr. Blutarsky. Zero. Point. Zero.

PS - That's brutal. The Red Sox have a couple of so-so hitters at the bottom of their line-up. Most teams do. But they're at least well north of the Mendoza line. When you have little/no chance of scoring every other inning, you're going to struggle to win.

You need a UT infielder? Mets would be happy to proffer Jose Reyes. His 0-for-season batting average and poor fielding will make him an immediate fit in the clubhouse.

I'll make some calls.

If you have a starting pitcher who rarely makes it out of 4th the Orioles are definitely interested.

The Orioles hitters are treating Dylan Bundy like Al Bundy - through 4 starts he has about 1.50 ERA and is 0 - 2.

Mets pitching has been good, actually. The bullpen imploded Monday night, but that will happen from time to time. It doesn't help that Calloway has surpassed Kapler in pitching changes for the season and his on his way towards burning out the Penn by Memorial Day.

It's early but that is not a good sign for the Orioles.

Which means of course when the time comes they will trade him away for a prospect or two. How are they hitting this bad? It's unreal.
